Stack & Source Emissions Testing

CRL Energy and our predecessor organisation, the Coal Research Association (CRA) have over 30 years of history working in the industrial emissions and combustions fields.

CRL Energy has four branches offering nationwide coverage and offers a full spectrum of stack testing services to all industries.  We regularly undertake emissions testing from industrial processes for a wide range of pollutants including:

• Total particulate, PM₁₀ and PM_2.5
• Acid gases and SO_3,
• SO₂, NOx, O₂, CO and CO₂
• Metals (including Mercury)
• Halide gases – HCL, HF, HCN
• Volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds
• Total and speciated hydrocarbons
• Dioxins/furans, PAHs and PCBs

Stack & source emissions testing is carried out for various industrial and agricultural organisations, developers and researchers, community and Iwi, as well as territorial authorities and regional councils, giving us experience across the board. Through many years combined experience in testing emissions, CRL Energy stack testing teams have gained extensive expertise with regard to USEPA Reference Test Methods and ISO, ASTM, and AS standards.

Our emissions work is IANZ Accredited and we are a TELARC Registered Supplier.
