CRL Environmental's main water testing facility is in Lower Hutt. It is IANZ accredited for Chemistry and Microbiology, and approved by the Ministry of Health. The Greymouth Laboratory is IANZ accredited for Microbiology and approved by the Ministry of Health. The Hamilton and Christchurch facilities concentrate on the collection of samples and their analysis by field instrumentation.

In addition to analyzing wastewater and effluents for the usual range of nutrients, our Solid Fuels Laboratory can do a full analysis of sewage sludges and other solids.

In addition to the analysis of leachate and surface waters, we have all the equipment for the sampling and analysis of landfill gases.

We are a Telarc Registered Supplier conforming to AS/NZS ISO 9001 for the provision of energy and environmental research, testing and consultancy services from our North and South Island sites.
Three of our testing laboratories have International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) accreditation.
We are Ministry of Health approved for testing against the New Zealand Drinking Water Standards.
