9.2 Service providers
Table 4 provides the names and websites of companies providing services relevant to the assessment of impacts of mining on streams such as those discussed in this document. In addition, research organisations such as the University of Canterbury, NIWA, Landcare Research and Cawthron Institute can provide expertise in biological assessment such as ecological surveys or toxicity testing, on a consultancy basis.
