Combustion
Combustion tests are carried out using CRL Energy’s own 50kW combustion unit, state-of-the-art sampling equipment, and standardised test methods.
Pre- and post-combustion analysis are used to determine the quality, burning properties, and rank of the fuel.
Particulate sample and emission tests (SOx, NOx, CO2, CO) are carried out to determine ideal burning parameters and rate of emissions.
Customized fuel blends can be used to achieve certain parameters, i.e; calorific value, sulphur content, etc.
Further emissions testing, including those detailed below, can be completed if required:
- heavy metals;
- dioxins;
- trace metals;
- acid halide gases; and
- volatile and semi-volatile organics including polyaromatic hydrocarbons.
